Summary of Solution 5 of 5: Marketing The Message

5.Use positive propaganda to market messages.  For example, it should always be considered inadequate to identify a problem without also identifying a specific preferred remedy.  All such propositions should reflect an answer to the question, "what would be better?"  The overall theme of this campaign will reflect direct-to-You messaging (that's the royal You, where people feel they are being addressed individually). This propaganda strategy has been used effectively by no less than George W. Bush, Adolf Hitler and Buzz Windrip in Sinclair Lewis's classic fascist tale, "It Can't Happen Here."  Successful propaganda throughout history offers many lessons to be adapted in this way.
